A croupier operates and controls the games in a casino. These games are mainly Roulette, Black jack and Poker. The role of a croupier is to ensure that the game you are dealing is running smoothly and professionally. As the croupier, you must follow the rules of the game and conduct yourself in a friendly manner towards your players at the table.
A live dealer works in a live studio casino where the croupier is recorded ‘live’ on video camera. A live dealer radiates positive energy on-screen for the players to see and communicate with. Because most live studio casinos have a chat facility, you can also chat to your players.
Working in a land-based casino is lively. Players’ expectations of winning can create an exciting atmosphere. You will find the atmosphere of a land-based casino socially energetic. While you are dealing, you are allowed to chat with your players in a professional manner. So, should you enjoy the social contact with others, you will find your time at the tables most rewarding.
Working in a live studio casino offers a completely different ambiance. To work in a live studio casino is to work in a calmer atmosphere because a live dealer speaks to the players via a camera. However, since there is a chat facility you also have the opportunity to formally communicate with the players.
As a live dealer, you must present yourself in a diligent and professional manner. You will host different players, some of which are VIPs. It is very important that the rules of the casino games are followed. In this way, the players can enjoy their gaming experience.
