What is a Game Presenter ?

A live dealer works in a live studio casino where the croupier is recorded ‘live’ on video camera. A live dealer radiates positive energy on-screen for the players to see and communicate with. You must be well groomed and act as a professional presenter. You will be recorded ‘live’ on camera so that you can provide your players with a real casino atmosphere. Like a casino dealer, the job as a Live Dealer is to govern the games you deal and explain the rules of the game to your players. Because most live studio casinos have a chat facility, you can also chat to your players.

What is the difference between working in a Land-based Casino and a Live Studio Casino ?

Land-based casino

Working in a live studio casino offers a completely different ambiance. To work in a live studio casino is to work in a calmer atmosphere because a live dealer speaks to the players via a camera. However, since there is a chat facility you also have the opportunity to formally communicate with the players.

What is a Live Dealer's job description, duties and responsibilities ?

As a live dealer, you must present yourself in a diligent and professional manner. You will host different players, some of which are VIPs. It is very important that the rules of the casino games are followed. In this way, the players can enjoy their gaming experience. Your duties and responsibilities to build this heightened online gaming experience include:

How many trainees are there on an OLCA course ?

The number of trainees is limited to 20 trainees per class. This ensures individual attention and that the course is able to move at the right pace.

The average salary of a croupier and game presenter in Malta ranges from €16,000 to €25,000 a year. Salary is determined by work experience and spoken languages. Also, accredited OLCA courses will enable our students to be positioned on a higher scale meaning higher salary and employment opportunities.
