The Award in Land-Based Casino Croupier: Roulette is a course for those considering to embark on a career in Gaming and wish to deal the most famous casino game, Roulette.

You will acquire the necessary knowledge and skills to control and run the roulette game in a real land-based casino environment. You will also control the proper pace of the game, collect and pay bets for customers, open and close tables at the end of a game and inspect systems and other equipment to be used on roulette to make sure that they are in proper working condition.

  • Plan work and carry out casino tasks on roulette without detailed instructions;
  • Produce accurate, professional croupier work;
  • Adapts well to changing casino procedures, priorities, deadlines and directions;
  • Notifies supervisor of problems in a timely manner;
  • Analyzes current casino game procedures for possible improvements.
  • Reports game irregularities in a detailed manner for management to solve any raised incidents
  • Communicates effectively with the management to pass on recommendations and innovative ideas in the field of work using creativity

You will acquire the following Knowledge:

  • Show an understanding of how to operate and control roulette by following the rules and procedures of a land based casino;
  • The student identifies that the games are running smoothly and professionally;
  • Define the rules and procedures of the casino games;
  • Be proficient in the understanding of working in a casino;
  • Show the understanding of the relationship between the croupier and inspector.
  • Understands advanced procedure text books and researches practical solutions to abstract problems.

You will acquire the following Skills:

  • Perform general duties of a croupier on both right-handed roulette and left-handed roulette casino tables;
  • Utilize mental arithmetic and quick reckoning summations whilst dealing roulette;
  • Explain the rules of casino games to the customers and colleagues;
  • Integrates learning from various casino games/casino procedures;
  • Completes casino tasks on time and with care;
  • Follows routines and instructions without supervision;
  • Welcomes new casino tasks and seeks new opportunities for learning new casino games;
  • Investigates and obtains casino gaming information independently;
  • Selects appropriate research procedures and uses them effectively.
  • Deal at a fast pace and efficient manner to demonstrate a high turnover of game rounds;

Entry Requirements

Any work experience is accepted and all students must be over 18 years of age.

The duration of this course is 350 hours.
